Buying a Property
Before buying, you’ll need to consider the contract, investigate and structures and arrange finance
The contracts are exchanged, a settlement date is set and a deposit is typically paid
Between exchange and settlement, further investigations and searches are carried out, stamp duty is paid, finance is arranged and a final inspection carried out
The settlement day arrives and the sale is completed, with settlement funds distributed to the vendor (seller)
